How IonTrue® technology works
Our purifiers are based on the latest technology. One of them is IonTrue® ionization.
This technology is based on the principle of air ionization - specifically, increasing the amount of negative ions in the air.
You may have noticed that you breathe better in the woods or near a body of water (lake, sea). This is due to the higher amount of negative ions in the air.
Conversely, inside prefabricated or reinforced concrete buildings, negative ions are scarce and positive ones (which are harmful) may predominate. Positive ions are also produced by the furnishings of the dwelling (exposure to electrical appliances, formaldehyde coatings on furniture, plastic objects and fluorescent lamps).
To give a more concrete idea, here are the amounts of negative ions in different types of environment:
- Inside a city apartment: 50 - 100 ions/cm³
- On the street: 100 - 500 ions/cm³
- In the forest or by the sea: 1 000 - 5 000 ions/cm³
- Near waterfalls: 10 000 - 50 000 ions/cm³
- Air after a storm: 10 000 - 50 000 ions/cm³
As you can see, urban apartments have very low amounts of healthy negative ions. A purifier with IonTrue® technology can solve this problem.
